DDA Flat Allotment 2011 - Process Gets Elongated

It seems DDA Housing Scheme will never have a smooth draw process free from any allegations. Just days after the draw results published controversies started to surface once again as these happened in the last draw results of the year 2008. The same allegations of rigging and giving undue advantages to some successful applicants are clouding the jubilation of those who are lucky to find their names in the list.

According to a report, the allotments of flats to winners of the DDA Draw Results 2011 will get delayed by two months. The demand-cum-allotment letters will be issued only after verifying the credentials of those who have made it to the list of successful candidates. Meanwhile DDA has made public the waiting list on its official website, which will remain valid for 9 months.

Though the wait-listed registrants will get back their registration money now, they would require to submit the  same 15 days before the commencement of the next draw. The date of the draw would be announced later, but it cannot be before the end of the six months from the date of the issue of the demand letter. A winner in the draw of lots is given maximum six months time to cancel an allotment or surrender an allotted flat back to Delhi Development Authority.

Check DDA website for the waiting list!
