DDA Draw Today

The big day has finally arrived! The hearts of the thousands of applicants must be beating faster as Delhi Development Authority is going to conduct the draw of lots today for its housing scheme 2010. The draw will be held at the office of Center for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) in Noida instead of its headquarters at Vikas Sadan Delhi. This is for the first time that DDA is handling such a large number of applicants, which are more than 7.5 lakh, and so it has decided to shift the venue of the draw to this place. CDAC is said to have better expertise and good experience in conducting a lottery of such a magnitude and dimension.

With more than 16,000 flats up for auction this time, everyone is hoping to see their name in the draw results. These flats are located in areas like Dwarka, Narela, Motia Khan, Mukherjee Nagar, Rohini, Vasant Kunj, Jasola, Gharoli, Kondli and Jaffarabad. The prices of flats range from Rs. 9 lakh to Rs. 1.12 Crore for apartments with one, two and three bedroom options. The scheme remained open for application from November 25, 2010 to December 24, 2010 and forms were received from nearly 7.5 applicants through a number DDA counters and designated branches of banks like State Bank of India, ICICI, and Axis Bank.

The DDA housing scheme 2010 draw results will soon be made available on DDA official website www.dda.org.in. Newspapers are expected to publish the results tomorrow, on April 19, 2011. Other housing authorities in the country, such as Ghaziabad Development Authority and Lucknow Development Authority will also come up their own housing schemes this year.
